Loving Care Pet Sitting

Privacy Policy:  All client information is kept private and confidential. Loving Care Pet Sitting highly respects our clients entrusting us with the care of their home and pets.

Our Service Area: We are happy to provide pet care services to the Santa Clarita Valley. Service Area is within a 8 mile radius of Santa Clarita Valley area from Loving Care Pet Sitting office.  There is a $12 per visit travel time/mileage fee.

Reservations:  Reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis.  If you have particular dates in mind, please call as far in advance as possible to reserve your dates.  If you will be traveling during a major holiday, booking at least 2 months in advance is recommended to schedule a initial consultation with you and your pet.  For Thanksgiving-Christmas-New Year holiday periods, bookings with less than 7 days notice may be subject to a last minute booking fee of $35.

Vaccinations:  Dogs must be up to date with Rabies vaccinations.

Payments: Full payment is expected at your "Get Acquainted" meeting to hold your requested dates. Bookings are confirmed with payment at the "Get Acquainted" meeting.  We accept cash, check, or Zelle payment.

Emergencies/Last Minute Scheduling:  While we will make every attempt to accommodate your needs, availability on short notice is dependent on our current schedule. A last minute scheduling fee of $25 is charged for new clients less than 5 business days prior to start date.  Additionally, a complimentary "Get Acquainted" meeting is required before pet care services can begin.  Last minute holiday bookings will be subject to an additional $35 fee.

Pet Service Verification:  Loving Care Pet Sitting will either call, text or send a email to verify dates, visits, etc. for your pet's care before your start date/departure. 

All Pets Under One Roof:  No pet will be "overlooked" in return for a lower rate.  Loving Care Pet Sitting is responsible and honor-bound to care for every pet in your home. Although some types of animals require less attention than others (i.e. fish, birds, turtles, etc.), we cannot ignore any pet living under your roof while you're away. Rates vary accordingly, but every pet will be under our care.

Oral Medications (No Injections):  No charge for administering medication, as long as it can be administered during the pet sitting visit with sufficient time to still provide proper care of your pet's other needs. Additionally, if a pet requires medication, but is extremely shy, scared, hides or is aggressive towards being medicated, it may be best for that pet to stay at your treating veterinarian's office while you are away.

Key Ready Program:  Free of charge, Loving Care Pet Sitting will keep your keys in a secure location so we can more easily serve you and your pets for future visits.  Most of our clients choose this convenience due to working late, short notice trips or in an emergency.  There is a $14 fee ($17 on major holidays) for Loving Care Pet Sitting to return keys or pick up keys for future visits.  Client may drop off or pick up keys.

Holidays: We provide pet sitting service on the following holidays and holiday weekends.  A Holiday fee per day (not per visit) will apply on the following holidays. 

$12 - Easter:  Saturday & Easter Sunday        $12 - Labor Day Weekend:  3 days

$12 - Mother's Day                                            $14 - Thanksgiving Weekend:  5 days

$12 - Memorial Day Weekend:  3 days          $14 - Christmas:  23 to 26 (4 days)

$12 - Father's Day                                              $14 - New Year's:  30, 31 and Jan 1 (3 days)

$12 - 4th of July Weekend: 3 days

Last minute holiday bookings subject to an additional $35 fee.

Note:  Availability for holidays is not guaranteed unless payment is made in advance.

Text Message Updates:  We will periodically send you text message updates of your pets' activities and well being for your peace of mind while you're gone.  Typically, we will not call you unless there is an emergency - No news is good news.
